Data we collect
- Contact and group forms: name, email, phone, message and, for groups, any agency or company details you enter.
- Bookings: stay details are collected by the Beddy booking engine (hotelvietricoast.beddy.io).
- Technical browsing data, only if you accept analytics cookies.
Why we use it
- To reply to enquiries and quotes. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before a contract.
- To manage the booking and the stay. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- To measure site use with Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity. Legal basis: consent, which you can refuse in the banner and withdraw by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
We do not use site data for personalised advertising. Sending a form does not confirm a booking: confirmation comes from the hotel or from Beddy.
Who receives the data
- FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) forwards form messages to the hotel email.
- Google, if you accept Analytics.
- Microsoft Clarity, if you accept analytics cookies. Clarity records the browsing session only after consent.
- Beddy, when you book a room.
- The site host (Aruba).
Email messages are kept for as long as needed to handle the request and any accounting duties. Booking data follows the stay file.
Cookies
- Necessary cookies: they run the site and remember your banner choice (local key hvc_cookie_consent). They do not need consent.
- Google Analytics 4 (ID G-2Q1V8F2CRF): starts only if you press Accept. The default state is denied.
- Microsoft Clarity (ID xrvscun826): loads only if you press Accept. If you press Reject, Clarity does not start.
You can change your mind by clearing this site’s local data and reloading the page. The banner will show again.
Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and you may withdraw analytics consent without affecting a stay.
